In Chicago, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Illinois vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–6 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (773) 975-8991. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, lincolnparkimportservice.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 5.0 out of 5 from 101 reviews, which is a strong result for an auto repair shop in Chicago and suggests consistent service.

Chicago is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Chicago follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Have had an amazing experience with Florian and his guys, with several cars over many years. He is quick, skilled and fair. He will also definitely tell you if you don't need to fix something, and gives great recs if you need something else (tires, body work). Highly recommend!

Florin and Lincoln Park import Service is the very best when it comes to work on European Import Cars: no run around, thorough diagnostics, and competitively priced! I had to have bushings and rear brakes replaced on my BMW535. I was sick of the arrogance and overpricing at the car dealership and Florin/team came highly recommended. Uses only authorized parts with import cars but more importantly, Florin is committed to his customers and integrity of his work when taking care of your baby! Thank you Florin and I have referred others to you!

Hello There a year ago

I had a great experience at Lincoln Park Import with Florin. He was super nice, easy to work with, and came across as genuine and honest throughout the process. He explained everything clearly, helped me understand what needed to be done now versus what could wait, and I never felt pressured. The service was excellent and I paid a lot less than I would have at the dealership. I really appreciate the honesty and professionalism here and will definitely be coming back.
